Dave and Lindsay were married on October 16th, a beautiful day, in Milton. I loved how they carried out their purple theme throughout the entire event.

These two have known each other for quite some time, and dated prior to Lindsay living abroad. When she moved back home, they realized they were meant to be together, and the wedding planning began.

These two were married back in July on a beautiful summer day in Whitby, not far from where Billy and I grew up on the same street. I’m sure that 25 years ago when we were playing River Raid on my parents Commodore 64, no one could have imaged that I would one day be photographing his wedding!

The ceremony and reception both took place at Cullen Central Park, and it was a beautiful day. Melissa being in the culinary arts herself, made the food a priority – and it was SO good!

The couple took off for a few minutes of privacy right after the ceremony, this was taken upon their return:

Alyson and Steve had a beautiful wedding at Deer Creek in Ajax. Their early evening ceremony was held indoors, followed by the formal reception in the Audley Room. Alyson’s sister and matron of honour introduced these two to each other, with Steve being a co-worker of hers. She must have known they’d hit it off, because there is something so sweet about the way Alyson and Steve look at each other, and they can’t stop smiling!

I really liked the antiqued, slightly desaturated look for these images as I was processing them. For some reason it just “feels” right.

How perfect that colour of the Christmas ornaments matched their theme colours!

Alyson’s mother actually made the cakes that were featured as part of the centerpieces at every table. There were many different flavours, and sharing was encouraged!

I loved the full length original version of this next one, but I cropped in so you can see their expressions – is that love, or what?

As I was driving away that night, I had to stop and get out the tripod for this shot – I was freezing cold and people driving by probably thought I was crazy, but I’m glad I got it!
