We had a rainy March day for this beautiful wedding, but that certainly didn’t put a damper on the days events. I met up with Dallas at the Sheraton Hotel in Markham for the “getting ready” photos, and after the ceremony we went back to the hotel for family and bridal party photos. Their lavish reception was held at Le Parc, and the theme revolved around their career as teachers – so unique! All the tables were labeled with school subjects instead of the tradition numbering (I was appropriately seated at the “Art” table!) and in order to see the bride and groom kiss, each table had an assignment to complete and present to the rest of the “class.” It was a great way to get everyone involved, and resulted in plenty of laughter.
Check out the slideshow at the end of the images – a new feature I’ll be using for weddings and events!
A couple of sweet moments during the ceremony…
Love this wall of black and white images at the Sheraton!
Table names on mini chalk boards!
