After the sneak peek a few weeks ago, I’m finally posting more images from this super fun wedding at the Bavaro Princess All Suites in Punta Cana! Ryan and I rode the school bus to the airport at 3am with the Thursday-Thursday group (others arrived over the next couple days), and we had a great time getting to know everyone over the course of the week.
When the wedding day arrived (it was on the Monday), I met up with Judy and Jeff each individually to capture the “getting ready” images, and as well as shots of Jeff with the guys, and Judy with the girls, and then we asked the families to meet up with us for family photos, and they all got to witness the couple seeing each other for the first time that day. The ceremony was held just off the beach in a beautiful white raised pavilion, and the guests were seated on chairs on the lawn below. A three piece band accompanied Judy as her mother walked her down the aisle.
After the ceremony, guests were treated to champagne while the band continued to play, before we headed over to the steakhouse El Gaucho for dinner. Once the cake had been cut and served, we made our way back to the beach for a private dance party and some wonderfully touching speeches by the bridal party.
A couple days later we did a “Trash the Dress” session with the bridal party, but you’ll have to come back to see those in the next post!
A little pre-ceremony thirst-quenching:
Judy was a little excited to be marrying Jeff:
