Lara and Derek brought their adorable son, Owen, along for their engagement session. We had Grandma come along as well in case he got bored, but he was happy to explore as we made our way around Cullen Central Park in Whitby. The light was gorgeous this evening, a perfect backdrop for both romantic engagement images, and cute family photos.

I met with these two the same week they got engaged, and Lara explained to me that she wanted to get as much of her planning done as soon as possible to avoid that last minute stress – smart lady! I can’t wait to see all their hard work come to fruition at their backyard wedding in July :)
