I’ve been so busy, I almost forgot! Kirk and Jess’s beautiful rainy day backyard wedding was recently featured in Beautiful Beginnings, which is a local bridal magazine. It’s free, so pick up a copy at your local wedding vendor’s location if you see it!

Check out page 36, and be sure to read their story as well. I love what they said about their “first look” (seeing each other in a special moment prior to the ceremony):

“The benefit to this is that we could then take pictures with our immediate family prior to the ceremony so guests didn’t have to wait a long time in between the ceremony and reception. We have been to a lot of weddings and we knew we didn’t want to make our guests wait for two or three hours. This worked out perfectly and we would highly recommend doing this.”
