After enjoying an afternoon with these two for their engagement photos at Children’s Arena, I knew we would get along great on their wedding day. In the morning, the ladies rushed around with the last minute details, steaming dresses, fixing hair and makeup, making sure the kids were dressed and everyone had eaten, while the men at the house took their time relaxing on the sofas watching the soccer game, wandering downstairs to get dressed just as it was time to leave. Oh, to be so calm and collected. How do they do it?
Dave and Mary-Ann had a beautiful ceremony at St. John the Evangelist in Whitby, and they were piped (bagpipes) in and out of the church, which is always fun! I have to give props to the whole bridal party, because this was not a warm day by any means, but they were great to work with and so cooperative for the photo session at Cullen Central Park. Mary-Ann had goose bumps, and I don’t think her teeth stopped chattering until halfway through the reception, but she didn’t complain once. (at least not to me!)
The reception at Tosca was beautiful as always, and I got to catch up with an old friend as well!
Our beautiful bride, Mary-Ann
These two just kept chasing each other around the park. They paused briefly when she caught him right between me and the bridal party and I had to get this shot! Cute, right?
Probably one of my most favourite groom shots.
A blast from the past – Tracey, who I went to elementary and high school with, is dating Mary-Ann’s brother… I wonder if we’ll be seeing Tracey in a white dress soon…??
The adorable flower girl makes another cute appearance!
