The Experience

Whether you're looking for a classic headshot for your business card or LinkedIn profile, or a full set of branding images for your website and social media, I would love to work with you as your Durham Region headshot and personal/small business branding photographer!

Images are edited in a clean, true-to-life style, unless otherwise requested.

You are welcome to edit the images as needed to fit your usage requirements.

Headshots are done in my Oshawa studio.

You'll be able to review your images as we go, allowing us to make changes quickly and easily, and you won't leave "hoping we got something" - you'll KNOW we got images you love!

In a rush?

I know you're busy, and with my years of experience and expertise, we can often complete a headshot session in 15 minutes or less. This allows you to pop in during a break, then get right back to business!

Prefer a fuller experience?

Add hair and makeup and bring a selection of outfits and we'll create multiple looks for you!

These Durham Region personal branding sessions can be done in a location that makes sense for your brand, whether that's your office, a co-working space, outdoors, or a rented studio space that fits your aesthetic.

What's included?

Sessions can include a combination of headshots, lifestyle imagery, and flatlays or product shots, to truly showcase you, your business, your products, your workflow, your values, and anything else you'd like to show off!

Multiple wardrobe options and on-brand props are encouraged!

Sessions are typically 60-90 minutes, though may be customized depending on your needs.

The Process

We'll pick a date and coordinate location rentals, if needed. The agreement form and retainer fee hold your date and time for you.

2. Your session day

You'll arrive at my studio and make any last minute touchups.

We'll photograph you with the required backdrops, wardrobe, lighting and angles needed to give you multiple options to choose from. You'll be able to see the results instantly and choose favourites before you leave!

Branding Sessions

We'll follow the plan that we set out on our call so we maximize our time in the studio and provide you with a complete set of on-brand images.

3. gallery reveal and ordering

If you're unable to finalize your decision on-site, an online proof gallery will be sent within about 48 hours of your session. Your favourites will be retouched and provided in an online gallery for you to download,

Alternate versions (square crop, and black-and-white) can be included at no charge.

Love more images than your collection includes? Add them on! Trust me, you'll probably want more than you think!

Pricing

Each option includes your session fee plus a select number of edited digital images. You'll be able to choose your final images from your proof gallery.

I don't know if i need just a headshot, or a branding session... help!

Go ahead and fill out my inquiry form and let me know about your business and your goals, and we'll figure out what will best suit your needs! We can even create a custom option for you if needed!

I don't know how to pose!

Most people aren't sure what to do in front of the camera. Don't worry though, I'll lead you through some simple directions to create flattering poses.

I need to book a headshot, but I want to lose 10lb first.

My years of experience mean that I have lots of ways to pose and use light to make you look your best! Don't put off taking images that will benefit your business or career now! You can always celebrate with new headshots once you reach your goals.

I don't know what to wear!

Before your session, you'll receive an email with information on how to prepare for your session, including wardrobe tips. Plus you can always bring a couple of options and we can discuss once you arrive.

My office isn't very photogenic, is there somewhere else we can do my branding session?

If your office space doesn't work, there are plenty of rentable spaces, many specifically designed for this purpose, that charge by the hour. There may also be an area within your home that could work, or a well-appointment AirBnB nearby. We can discuss which option works best for your brand!
