A couple of months ago I submitted 3 images to potentially be featured in Shutter Magazine’s Children’s Edition. You might not have heard of this magazine, but it’s one of the leading photography publications in the world, focusing on education, and there’s an “Inspirations” section where photographers can submit images to be featured for that month’s theme. It’s put together by a highly respected team in the industry, and some people have been trying to get images featured there for months, or years, so I didn’t expect much.
Sidenote: I was also supposed to attend Shutterfest this year – their big convention in the US, but obviously it had to be cancelled, and tickets were transferred to 2021 – it will be my first time attending and I’m so looking forward to it!
So naturally I was shocked when I received an email letting me know I could download their “featured” graphic to share on my website and social media! I was even more shocked when I flipped through the magazine and found ANOTHER image of mine – I have TWO images featured in the Inspirations section <3
So grateful, thank you Shutter Magazine!
