I’ve had the honour of photographing both these little ones as wee babes, and a couple family sessions as well. This latest session was to celebrate Miss V’s first birthday. I gotta say though, it was hard not to let big brother W steal the show.

For this Whitby family session, I knew I wanted to use those gorgeous birch trees as a back drop, and I brought along the birch prop my Dad built, since V wasn’t quite walking yet, to give us some extra options. I also knew that attention spans would be short, and wanted to focus on creating some fun images, and lots of connection.
