WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY Whitby NEWBORN SESSION?
There's no specific time you need to schedule your session by, however many families schedule their newborn session when they are a couple months from their due date, so it's one less thing to worry about once baby arrives. Last minute sessions can usually be accommodated though, so don't worry if you didn't book in advance.
Can we do the newborn photos in my house in whitby?
We can, but your images are going to look different than what you see here! If you like the style of photos you see on my website, you'll want to come to my studio - it's practically on the border or Whitby and Oshawa. It's a calming, cozy space, with access to everything you'll need. Or in the summer we can go outdoors! But if you prefer an in-home lifestyle session, we can definitely do that!
Can we do family photos as part of our whitby newborn photography session?
Absolutely! I always photograph baby's immediate family together. We'll do family and sibling photos first, and then I recommend that one of the parents takes the older kids out for lunch, or back to school, home, or to the park for the remainder of the session. It keeps the atmosphere calmer for your baby (and yourself!) If this isn't possible, I have a few toys and books on hand, and snacks help too ;)
What do I need to bring?
Not much! Clothes for yourselves, and food for your baby. I provide everything needed during the session, and I provide all the wraps and props for your babe. I also have my newborn studio stocked with diapers, wipes, receiving blankets, a nursing pillow, etc.
We were so impressed with Tara during our newborn baby shoot. She is an absolute baby whisperer and was able to capture some amazing shots, even when our baby was having a bit of a fussy day! She took a lot of time to make sure she captured lots of adorable images of our little guy. We would definitely hire Tara again.

Pricing
Your newborn photography session will take place in my Oshawa home studio or outdoors in the Durham Region.
After your session, we will set a time for your gallery reveal! This is where you'll see your images, and choose your favourites to receive as digitals, in an heirloom album, or beautiful display for your walls.
Newborn Photography Collections all include:
• your studio or outdoor session
• parent, sibling, family, and baby alone will all be photographed
• a select number of digital images
• album and/or print credit (except Basics collection)
