Winter Engagement Session | Jackie + Lee

Jackie and Lee met while she went down to Bermuda for a teaching position. Both being teachers, they hit off, and have taken turns travelling back and forth to visit each other as often as possible ever since. Lee came up here last winter during the ice storm, and this year he got to experience a bit of our freezing cold February – quite the introduction to Ontario! We all kept an eye on the weather forecast, trying to pick a day that wasn’t going to be minus one million, but with the constant changes, we just decided to go for it!

Jackie has been a competition skater for as long as I’ve known her (she’s the same age as my “little” brother), so she knew she wanted to get out her skates during their winter engagement session. My fingers and toes may have numbed and thawed numerous times during this session, but it was totally worth it! We even had a deer sneak into a couple photos as well.

I can’t wait to photograph their wedding in August at Stonewall Estates!
