And do you really want to spend that much money on a dress you may only wear once?

Thankfully for those in Ontario, Canada, there’s a solution that will give you tons of options and save you money. Sugar Bump Gown Rentals is located in Courtice, and ships anywhere in Ontario. For requests outside this area, you’ll need to contact them to see if it can be done.

How to Rent a Maternity Gown from Sugar Bump Gown Rentals

On their website, you can browse through hundreds of beautiful gowns in various styles and sizes. You can filter your search results based on colour, size, occasion, designer, price, and features. Once you’ve narrowed down the choices, be sure to check if the dress is available for the date you need it. You’ll want to start looking at least a couple of weeks in advance, so you can reserve the dress and allow for shipping time.

You can choose from a 5 or 10-day rental, if available, and choose local pickup if you’re in the Courtice area, or select the shipping option which covers the return of the dress as well. Choose a date a few days before you actually need it, to allow a cushion for shipping delays or fit issues. Sugar Bump even takes care of the cleaning, making it super simple for a busy mama (or a tired one!)

Be sure to read the descriptions for fit, and reach out if you have any questions prior to ordering. If you receive a gown that doesn’t fit, Sugar Bump will work with you to arrange an alternate, so be sure to try it on as soon as it arrives – don’t wait until the day of your session!

Another great option if you’re local – you can attend a “Try on” day at the Sugar Bump studio. This way you’ll know for sure that you like the fit and style of the dress you choose.
