Don't miss out on these lavender sessions - spots are extremely limited due to growing season and popularity. I book my dates months in advance, so they are firm - July 20 & 23 still available.

Located in Seagrave, just north of Port Perry, this location is easily accessible for those in Durham Region and Clarington, and many have travelled from Toronto and beyond. These sessions are perfect for families with kids 6 months+, or even for a newborn session if the timing aligns. You're welcome to check out the shop while you're there too, for all kinds of lavender goods and gifts.

Golden hour sessions only

Lavender-Blu is the most beautiful setting, with 3 different fields available, there is always gorgeous light, whether you book the first session of the evening or the last (or anything in between)! I only photograph in the evenings, so everyone gets the good light!

Priced the same as my popular family sessions, with the added bonus of being able to roam and use the gorgeous fields at Lavender-Blu.

Every Collection includes a number of digital images, plus an artwork credit so you'll be sure to have a way to show off these stunning images in your home.

To say I am not comfortable in front of a camera is an understatement. I usually delete about 99.9% of all pictures taken of me. Not only did Tara make my family and I feel comfortable during our session, but I loved pretty much every picture she took, and displayed them in our house! She captured our family perfectly down to my daughter's crazy personality. The pictures were just stunning and I can't thank her enough. I will absolutely be asking her to take pictures for us again.

2 - Stef and John

We did our Maternity and Newborn photoshoots with Tara and I'm so glad we did! The photos are INCREDIBLE! We couldn't narrow down our favourites so we ended up purchasing all of them. She made us feel super comfortable which is reflected in the photos. She was so good with my newborn son, I actually learned soothing techniques from her! We also purchased an album and custom frame and are so happy with the quality, I cried when I saw it.

Hey, friend!

A little about me

I'm a coffee-loving, chocolate-obsessed mama of one. As you could probably guess, I have always loved kids, but you may not know that my photography journey began long before my little one was even a thought. You can still find me sitting at the kids' table at family events, and their scrunchy-nose smiles and adorable little high-pitched voices are my kryptonite.

my experience

I graduated from at the top of my class in Creative Photography, and I'm proud to be accredited with APNPI, an international newborn photography association. I even teach a class as part of their Academy for other photographers, and was recently asked to be on their judging panel. I have also been trained in newborn posing safety and I'm CPR trained.

I am 1 in 4

Little did I know the trouble we would have once we decided to start a family. Talking openly about it has led me to realize how common these issues are, and it is both heartbreaking and comforting to know you aren't alone. I have experienced multiple early losses, IVF, a c-section, and an ectopic pregnancy. Our fertility struggles have made me see the value in documenting the fleeting memories, family snuggles, and all those perfectly imperfect moments. Whether your story is similar or not, I know you don't want to forget a single detail.
