You're excitedly and anxiously awaiting the arrival of your sweet baby! It won't be long now until you're holding your little one in your arms. Now is the time to celebrate YOU! You'll want to look back and remember your bump, and life before baby, whether this is your first or your fifth.
As your Durham Region and Toronto area maternity photographer, I aim to document this precious time in your life in a natural and beautiful way. guiding you when needed, while also letting the natural connection unfold. Images can be done solo, or we can include your partner and other children in a few as well.
Outdoor Sessions

• you're ready to venture off the beaten path for the best locations
Studio Sessions
• variety of wardrobe and lighting options
• create timeless portraits with a more posed and classic approach
• best if you prefer not to brave the Canadian elements!

The Process
1. let's chat
Fill out the contact form and we'll chat about what you're looking for in your maternity session. Will it be indoors or out, a beautiful album or artwork for your wall (or both!),
We'll schedule your session for when you're between 28-34 weeks, and plan details like location and wardrobe. You'll also be able to rent a gorgeous gown if you wish!
The agreement form and retainers fee will hold your date and time for you.
2. Your session day
Your maternity session day! You look and feel fabulous, maybe you've pampered yourself with professional hair and makeup for the occasion, and you're ready to do this!
Now relax and go with the flow as I lead you through a series of posed and unposed images, with lots of time to snuggle your bump. Your partner and other children are welcome too, as I'm sure they are eagerly anticipating this little one's arrival as much as you are!
3. gallery reveal and ordering
We'll set a time to view your images about 1-2 weeks after your session.
Sit back and enjoy a beautiful slideshow, and then we'll go through and select your favourites to include in your album, or display on your wall, and the ones you'll receive in digital format for sharing and making your own prints for friends and family.
Most clients upgrade their collection or add on additional items after seeing their images and all the options in-person!

Each gallery below will give you an idea of what a session looks like with me, whether we're photographing mama-to-be solo, with your partner, or if you have other children to include in the session as well.
Pricing
After your maternity session, we will set a time for your gallery reveal!
This is where you'll see your images, and choose your favourites to receive as digital images, in an heirloom album, or beautiful display for your walls.
Maternity Photography Collections all include:
• your studio or outdoor session
• a discounted or complimentary gown rental
• a select number of digital images
• option to purchase additional digital images
• a complimentary artwork credit towards an album or wall art
Collections begin at $450

We did our Maternity and Newborn photoshoots with Tara and I'm so glad we did! The photos are INCREDIBLE! We couldn't narrow down our favourites so we ended up purchasing all of them. She made us feel super comfortable which is reflected in the photos. She was so good with my newborn son, I actually learned soothing techniques from her! We also purchased an album and custom frame and are so happy with the quality, I cried when I saw it.

FAMILY NEWBORN SESSION
To say I am not comfortable in front of a camera is an understatement. I usually delete about 99.9% of all pictures taken of me. Not only did Tara make my family and I feel comfortable during our session, but I loved pretty much every picture she took, and displayed them in our house! She captured our family perfectly down to my daughter's crazy personality. The pictures were just stunning and I can't thank her enough. I will absolutely be asking her to take pictures for us again.
