The Process
1. let's chat
Fill out the contact form and we'll chat about your newborn session. Will you feature these images on a gallery wall, in an heirloom album that can be passed along to your little ones when they're grown?
We'll schedule your newborn session for when baby is about 8-12 days. Don't worry if babe isn't born right on your due date, there's no rescheduling fee for early or late babies.
The agreement form and retainer fee will hold your date for you, and a session prep email will be sent.
2. Your NEWBORN session!
After you arrive at my Oshawa newborn studio, we start with some snuggly sibling and family photos, and then you get to sit back and relax while I take photos of your new baby on their own.
Enjoy a hot coffee (decaf available too) and a snack or catch up on emails and messages while you oooh and awww over the adorable images being created in front of you! You'll have full view of the entire session so your little one is never out of site.
I love to photograph asleep and awake poses if babe allows, and family and sibling images are included in every newborn session, as I truly believe these will be the most meaningful as your little one grows.
3. gallery reveal and ordering
We'll set a time to view your images about 1-2 weeks after your session.
You'll enjoy a beautiful slideshow, and then we'll go through and select your favourites to include in your album, or display on your wall, and the ones you'll receive in digital format for sharing and making your own prints for friends and family.
Most clients upgrade their collection or add on additional items after seeing their images and all the options in-person!

We did our Maternity and Newborn photoshoots with Tara and I'm so glad we did! The photos are INCREDIBLE! We couldn't narrow down our favourites so we ended up purchasing all of them. She made us feel super comfortable which is reflected in the photos. She was so good with my newborn son, I actually learned soothing techniques from her! We also purchased an album and custom frame and are so happy with the quality, I cried when I saw it.

Pricing
Your newborn photography session will take place in my Oshawa home studio or outdoors within the Durham Region.
After your session, we will set a time for your gallery reveal! This is where you'll see your images, and choose your favourites to receive as digitals, in an heirloom album, or beautiful display for your walls.
Newborn Photography Collections all include:
• your studio or outdoor session
• parent, sibling, family, and baby alone will all be photographed
• a select number of printed images - matted, or in an album
• the matching digital files
Collections begin at $890
My home studio is located in North Oshawa. Everything needed for your session and your comfort is provided.
